The 48-Hour Portfolio Teardown
An expert architecture portfolio review, delivered in 48 hours.
No calls to schedule. No vague feedback. You send your PDF; I send back a marked-up PDF with my comments on your actual pages — what a reviewer sees in the first 60 seconds, what to cut, what to rebuild, and the narrative thread tying it all together.
Three steps. Zero scheduling.
1. Book and upload. Pay $175 and send your portfolio PDF, your school list, and your deadlines through the intake form. Rough drafts welcome — earlier is better.
2. I tear it down. Within 48 hours, I mark up your PDF with detailed comments on your actual pages, the way a reviewer really sees them.
3. You rebuild with a plan. You get the marked-up PDF plus written notes and a prioritized fix list, ordered by what matters most before your deadline.
What you get
- A marked-up PDF of your portfolio — my comments on your actual pages
- Keep / cut / rebuild verdicts on every project
- Your narrative thread — the story your portfolio should be telling, in one line
- A prioritized action list, ordered by deadline impact
- Written notes you can work from at your own pace
Who this is for
- MArch / BArch applicants working against this cycle's deadlines
- Students and grads polishing a portfolio for internships or jobs
- Anyone who wants expert eyes on their work before it counts
Not for
- Anyone who wants someone to make the portfolio for them — I coach, I don't ghost-design
- Anyone not ready to hear what to cut (there's always something)
$175, one time.
If we keep working together after the teardown, teardown clients get first priority on 1-on-1 session blocks.
FAQ
What format should my portfolio be in? A PDF, at whatever stage it's in. Rough is fine — the earlier I see it, the more useful the teardown.
Is the 48-hour turnaround guaranteed? Yes. If I'm ever too slammed to hit it, I'll tell you before you pay — I'd rather turn you away than deliver late.
What if my portfolio is too early-stage for useful feedback? Then I'll tell you within 24 hours and refund you in full. I'd rather lose the $175 than waste your time.
How is this different from the free consultation? The free 30-minute call maps your plan — goals, hurdles, next steps. The teardown is me doing expert markup on your actual work. Most clients do the teardown first, then book sessions to execute the fix list.
What happens after the teardown? You get the fix list. If you want help executing it, single sessions are $150/hr and 10-hour blocks are $1,350. Teardown clients get first priority on my calendar during application season.
